Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) using k-tendering systems to local and international suppliers, ensuring all specifications and delivery terms are clearly defined to facilitate accurate bidding.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, assessing their capabilities and reliability to ensure alignment with project needs and company standards.
- Evaluate supplier proposals based on technical specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines, providing recommendations to project teams for informed decision-making.
- Maintain familiarity with KOC, KNPC, and K-Companies codes, procedures, and approved lists of manufacturers and contractors to ensure compliance in procurement activities.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand project requirements and provide insights on materials and services needed for successful execution.
- Negotiate contracts with selected suppliers to secure favorable terms, ensuring that agreements meet both quality and budgetary expectations.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations, addressing any issues that arise to maintain project timelines and standards.
- Prepare detailed cost analysis reports and updates for senior management, highlighting potential cost-saving opportunities and procurement efficiencies.
