Business Director – ICT Division – SOS HR Solutions

Role Purpose

The Business Director is the overall owner of business performance across all IT channels. This role is fully responsible for growth, sales, revenue delivery, and P&L performance, while working closely with the individual Business Segment Heads and the Operational Head (Project Head)

who ensures execution and operational continuity. The mandate is to grow the business in a controlled, profitable, and scalable manner, not just

maintain operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Sales Ownership

• Full ownership of sales targets, revenue growth, and GMV across the channels.

• Define and execute channel-wise growth strategies.

• Ensure clear monthly, quarterly, and annual targets are set and achieved.

• Drive performance through segment heads by leading and holding teams accountable.

2. P&L & Financial Accountability

• Own full P&L responsibility for ICT Division.

• Ensure revenue growth is aligned with profitability and margin discipline.

• Work closely with Finance to:

o Review monthly P&L per channel

o Improve margins

o Control overheads

o Justify budgets and investments

• Any budget exceedance must be pre-approved by management.

3. Strategic Direction & Market Expansion

• Define medium-term and long-term growth roadmap for each channel.

• Identify:

o New revenue streams

o Cross-selling opportunities

o Market expansion (local & regional)

• Present structured business plans and forecasts to management.

• No speculative or assumption-based projections — all plans must be data-backed.

4. Leadership & Accountability

• Lead and manage all Segment Heads, who remain responsible for:

o Execution

o Sales delivery

o Channel performance

• Establish clear KPIs and performance dashboards.

• Recommend hiring, restructuring, or exits based on performance.

• Act as the single point of accountability for results.

5. Coordination with Operations

• Work closely with the Operational Head (Project Head) to:

o Ensure growth plans are operationally executable

o Avoid breakdown between strategy and execution

• Operations execution remains with the Operational Head;

commercial success remains with the Business Director.

6. Governance & Reporting

• Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly performance updates to:

o CEO

o Vice Chairman/Board (as required)

• Ensure transparency, structured reporting, and early escalation of risks.

KPIs & Success Metrics

• Revenue & GMV growth

• Profitability / EBIT improvement

• Channel-wise sales performance

• Forecast accuracy

• Budget adherence

• Team performance delivery
