Division Manager (Equipment & Power Tools) (copy)
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Division Manager to lead our Mechanical Construction Equipment & Power Tools Division. This role will be responsible for the overall profitability, growth, and operational excellence of the division. The ideal candidate will oversee sales, operations, logistics, aftersales service, inventory management, and team leadership, ensuring the division meets its financial and strategic objectives.
Essential Functions
1. Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the division’s business strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Oversee the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the division, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
- Set KPIs, sales targets, and operational benchmarks for the team.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends.
- Strengthen relationships with key clients, suppliers, and distributors.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
3. Operations & Logistics
- Oversee inventory management, procurement, and supply chain operations.
- Ensure timely delivery and logistics efficiency to meet customer demands.
- Optimize operational processes to reduce costs and improve productivity.
4. Aftersales & Customer Service
- Manage warranty services, repairs, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Implement policies for handling returns, complaints, and service agreements.
- Work with the technical team to improve product reliability and service quality.
5. Team Management
- Lead and mentor the sales, operations, logistics, and aftersales teams.
- Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide training where necessary.
6. Financial & Compliance Oversight
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving and revenue-generating opportunities.
