SAP Business Analyst

This role bridges business operations and system execution by analyzing workflows, improving processes, and translating business needs into automated ERP solutions. The position focuses on maximizing the use of SAP Business One, Beas, and Produmex by deploying advanced features, reducing manual work, and strengthening operational control. It also drives continuous system improvement through automation, new functionalities, and scalable solutions that support Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance operations.

1. Strategic Process Re-engineering & Optimization

  • Physical Process Analysis: regularly execute physical workflows against system processes. Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, and unauthorized manual workarounds.
  • Workflow Architecture: Redesign and optimize end-to-end business processes to ensure they are physically logical and customer-centric before mapping them into the ERP environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to automate manual tasks using standard SAP functionality or approved add-ons, ensuring maximum return on investment for the ERP landscape.

2. Technical Administration & Data Governance

  • System Configuration: Maintain the technical health of the SAP Business One environment, including the configuration of user authorizations, form settings, and master data management.
  • Development & Automation: Utilize SAP HANA/SQL to develop advanced queries and stored procedures. Deploy B1 Usability Package (B1UP) configurations to create validation rules that prevent user error and enforce data accuracy.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Design and maintain a suite of Crystal Reports and Dashboards that provide real-time visibility into critical operational KPIs, enabling data-driven decision-making.

3. Organizational Governance & Change Management

  • Compliance Enforcement: Act as the gatekeeper of process integrity. Assertively challenge non-compliant behaviors and enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments.
  • User Empowerment: Conduct rigorous training sessions that go beyond technical instruction to explain the downstream business impact of user actions, fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with department heads to resolve operational pain points while maintaining strict adherence to system best practices.

Holistic ERP Knowledge: Deep understanding of Sales A/R, Purchasing A/P, Inventory, and Financials.

Business Acumen: Ability to analyze business KPIs and translate them into system requirements.
