Fleet Maintenance Supervisor – THE BRIDGE CO.
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our fleet vehicles within the accounting sector. This position involves overseeing the maintenance and repair of all fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of skilled technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing maintenance schedules, managing inventory for parts and supplies, and implementing best practices for fleet management. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as technical expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the fleet maintenance department, ensuring vehicles are maintained in optimal condition.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan.
- Manage a team of technicians, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards regarding fleet operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify any maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for auditing purposes.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services as needed.
- Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and manage the budget for the fleet maintenance department, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding fleet status and maintenance issues.
