Waitress – Al-Fozan Enterprises General Trading & Contracting Co.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waitress to join our dynamic team at a prestigious business consultancy services company in Al Kuwait. As a Waitress, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a delightful dining experience for our clients and guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You will be the face of our establishment, interacting with customers and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. This position requires a blend of excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
2. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
3. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and quality meet our standards.
4. Monitor customers’ needs throughout their dining experience, responding promptly to requests for additional items or assistance.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
6. Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after service, ensuring a smooth operation.
7. Handle customer complaints with professionalism and resolve issues effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service and communication.
9. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on menu changes and service standards.
10. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe dining environment for both customers and staff.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a waitress or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers.
3. Strong multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple tables and priorities simultaneously.
4. Positive attitude and a team player, willing to collaborate and support colleagues.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
6. Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and menu items.
7. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a busy dining environment.
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service.
9. Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions.
