Business Development Executive – Logistics and Shipping

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in the logistics and shipping sector within the real estate industry. This role is crucial for driving business growth, establishing strong client relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and shipping processes, as well as a keen ability to navigate the complexities of the real estate market in Al Kuwait. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and enhance our market presence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to expand our logistics and shipping services within the real estate sector.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients and partnerships, to drive revenue growth.
  3. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  5. Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing our services and value proposition.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
  8. Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the company and promote our services.
  9. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals.
  10. Provide regular reports to management on business development activities, market insights, and progress towards sales goals.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the logistics and shipping industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of the real estate market and logistics operations in Al Kuwait.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
  6. Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools.
  7. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  8. Highly organized with excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
  9. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  10. A degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
