Sales Engineer – Switchgear LV/MV – Industrial Electrical Projects Company

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Engineer with previous experience in Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear to join our dynamic team in Sabhan, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our market presence in the manufacturing sector. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of customer needs in the electrical engineering domain. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting our innovative switchgear products, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Your ability to communicate complex technical information effectively will be essential in building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for LV and MV switchgear products.
2. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and assess competitive landscape.
3. Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
4. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
5. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
6. Provide technical support and training to clients and internal staff regarding switchgear products.
7. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM software.
8. Participate in industry trade shows and networking events to promote the company’s products and enhance brand visibility.
9. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven track record of successful sales experience in the electrical engineering sector, specifically with LV and MV switchgear.
2. Strong technical background in switchgear design, applications, and industry standards.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
6. Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
7. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
8. Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
