Sales Engineer – Raja Trading Company

About the Role

Safety Plus World is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting our range of safety solutions — including PPE, Fall Protection, and Gas Detection — to clients across industries such as Oil & Gas, Construction, and Government. This position blends technical understanding with customer-facing responsibilities to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Account Management
  • Identify and approach potential customers, consultants, and contractors in key industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

2)     Technical Sales & Product Demonstration

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions from our safety product range.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to end users, safety officers, and procurement teams.

3)     Project Engagement

  • Engage in project-based selling by tracking tenders, RFQs, and new developments in the market.
  • Coordinate with the internal team to prepare technical submittals and documentation.

4)     Site Visits & On-Ground Support

  • Regularly visit job sites and customer facilities to understand usage conditions and recommend the right product fit.
  • Provide post-sales technical support where required.
  • Sales Target Achievement
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets in assigned sectors or regions.
  • Follow up consistently on quotations, pipeline leads, and project closures.

6)     Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
  • Share insights with the sales manager to refine strategy and product positioning.
