Procurement and purchase Executive for Restaurant and Fast Food – Al-Fozan Enterprises General Trading & Contracting Co.

The Procurement and Purchase Executive plays a crucial role in the operational success of restaurants and fast food outlets in Al Kuwait. This position is responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that all necessary supplies are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the food service industry, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers. This role requires a proactive approach to inventory management and a keen eye for quality assurance, ensuring that all products meet the restaurant’s standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the restaurant’s goals.
  2. Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for food and beverage products.
  3. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and forecast future supply needs to prevent shortages.
  5. Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and product trends.
  6. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards in all procurement activities.
  7. Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand their needs and preferences for ingredients.
  8. Manage relationships with existing suppliers, resolving any issues that may arise.
