Heavy Drivers – Acico

The Heavy Driver position in Kuwait is a critical role within the construction and building industry, responsible for operating heavy machinery and vehicles to transport materials and equipment to various job sites. This role requires a high level of skill, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe operations. Heavy Drivers play a vital part in the successful execution of construction projects, contributing to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the team.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate heavy vehicles and machinery, including trucks, excavators, and bulldozers, to transport materials.
2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe working condition.
3. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while driving and operating machinery.
4. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.
5. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules.
6. Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to coordinate transportation needs.
7. Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
8. Follow traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of materials.
9. Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents to the appropriate personnel immediately.
10. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on safety practices and operational procedures.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Valid heavy vehicle driving license with a clean driving record.
2. Proven experience in operating heavy machinery and vehicles in a construction environment.
3. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in driving.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
