General Manager – Travel & Tourism

A dynamic and experienced General Manager is required to lead a luxury-focused travel business through its growth and operational excellence journey. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing premium service operations, team leadership, and driving profitability, with deep knowledge of the luxury travel or hospitality sector. This role involves overseeing daily operations, financial management, strategic partnerships, and ensuring an exceptional client experience tailored to high-net-worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute long-term business strategies to achieve growth and profitability.
  • Identify and act on market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive advantages.
  • Align operational and marketing efforts with the brand’s premium positioning.

2. Operational Oversight

  • Manage day-to-day business operations, including travel logistics, service delivery, and supplier coordination.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and operational frameworks.
  • Introduce systems for centralized management of clients, vendors, and service providers.

3. Team Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing, multicultural team aligned with the company’s values.
  • Define roles, KPIs, and development plans for team members.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.

4. Financial Management

  • Prepare, manage, and track budgets to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key financial metrics including revenue, profitability, and cost controls.
  • Identify and explore new revenue streams and business models.

5. Marketing & Business Development

  • Lead marketing strategy including digital and social campaigns targeting luxury clientele.
  • Create and update marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and profiles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, partners, and vendors.
  • Expand reach across B2B and B2C channels with new offerings and market presence.

6. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the main escalation point for high-profile clients, ensuring satisfaction and service recovery.

7. Reporting & Compliance
