Oracle Apps DBA Consultant – National Information Technology Company
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a part of the Oracle implementation team, the candidate will be Responsible for supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security:
· Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades
· Applying patches and upgrades to latest release R12
· Cloning production to test environment
· Fine tuning, Space management, Data security, Schema management, Fault management, Diagnostic assessment of the Oracle Databases
· Identify technical gaps in user requirements and design custom solutions to cater the user requirement
· Technology Stack and Tools support for iAS, Forms, Reports and Discoverer
· Routine maintenance activities, system monitoring and proactive health check on a daily basis
· Manage and Configure Oracle Database RAC environment
· Raising and follow up Service Requests through Oracle Metalink
· Design and Develop backup and recovery procedures using RMAN and other backup tools
